Asparagus
This marks the start of the new growing season. Asparagus is grown on our farm and harvested daily from April 23rd to June 21st (Weather dependant). We then treat the cut stems as you would cut flowers, keeping them in water until the time you buy them. This prevents the woody, stringy, product you may buy elsewhere.

Apricots
It comes as a surprise to a lot of people that Apricots grow in this country. On the farm we grow three varieties and due to the slow maturing in our climate they are sweet and juicy.

A new crop to the farm, the yellow peach has been specifically bred to grow in the relatively cool climate here in England.

Fragrant Autumn Fruit, typically used to make a jelly to go with meat.

Also known as Bartlett Pears, these are tasty when ripe, but do not eat well when hard.

Hard crunchy pear. Very juicy, keeps well.

Concord
This pear is a cross between Conference and Comice.

Ultra sweet and juicy pear, very delicate. Recommended to be eaten in the bath tub.
